Rajpal Yadav (Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Bhoolbhulaiya,
Partner, Hungama) is one of the most popular comedy actors we have in
Bollywood. He has been embroiled in a loan recovery case since quite some time
and now he is in serious trouble.
According to a report on India Today,
Rajpal and his wife Radha have been convicted in the suit in
question, which was filed against them.

The story goes back to to 2010 when Yadav and Radha had taken a loan from a
Delhi-based entrepreneur, MG Agarwal (owner of Murli Projects) for his Hindi
directorial Ata Pata Laapata. Agarwal filed a case against the couple in the
High Court after they failed to repay him the amount.
The loan amount is said to be to the tune of Rs 5 Cr. The
Karkardooma Court has convicted the duo for failing to repay the loan.

In the same case, Rajpal had been summoned by the court
numerous times. He was also sent to 10 days of judicial custody. Yet Rajpal and
Radha did not settle the loan amount.
On April 23, the court is all set to pronounce the
punishment.
